Recut

How to turn a photo into a video with AI

Attach the photo and describe what should happen ("slow push-in while the steam rises"). Recut runs an image-to-video model that animates the still, and shows each model's price before you run it.

What to typeAnimate this photo: a slow push-in, soft light moving across the cup, 5 seconds, vertical.

Step by step

  1. Attach the photoAny still: a product shot, a landscape, a portrait, an illustration.
  2. Describe the motionSay what moves, how the camera moves, the length and the shape (9:16 for phones). You can also give a last frame, and Recut asks the model to end there.
  3. Pick the modelRecut lists the strongest image-to-video models, such as Kling, Veo 3.1, Seedance and Wan, side by side with their prices.
  4. Run and refineVideo models charge by the second. If the motion isn't right, change the words and run again; every version is kept.

What Recut does

Recut writes the model's prompt from what you said, fills in its settings (length, shape, last frame) and runs it on your account. The result lands on the timeline next to the photo.

For a longer piece, Recut can chain clips: it saves the last frame of one clip and uses it to start the next, then joins the clips, adds music or narration and fits the film to a platform.
