How to make a product video ad from one photo
Open Recut's "Product shot to ad" template, add one product photo, the product's name, three settings, a caption and a call to action. Recut plans three lifestyle shots, an animated hero video, a platform export, captions and an end card, and shows the models and prices before you run.
Use the product ad template with this photo: Dawn cold brew, on a kitchen counter, at the beach, at a desk. Caption: "Cold brew that tastes like a café".
Step by step
- Pick the templateChoose "Product shot to ad" from Recut's templates.
- Fill in the blanksThe product photo, its name, three settings for the lifestyle shots, the caption, the call to action, and where it will be posted (TikTok by default).
- Review the planRecut lays out eight steps: three image edits that place your exact product in each setting, a 5-second hero video from the first shot, the platform export, captions, an end card and the final join. Each model step shows its price.
- Run itRun the whole plan, or let it run on its own within a budget you set. Every shot and clip is kept, so you can redo one without redoing the rest.
What Recut does
The image steps tell the model to keep the product and its label exactly as they are and only change the scene around it. The hero video is a slow push-in with soft light moving across the product.
The finishing steps (fit for the platform, captions, end card, join) run on your device at no model cost. Once you like the result, save the plan as your own template and reuse it for the next product.
Tips
- Use a sharp, well-lit product photo on a plain background.
- Write settings people can picture: "on a marble counter in morning light" beats "in a kitchen".
What it doesn't do
- AI image models can still alter small text on labels; check each shot before you publish.
- Results and prices depend on the models chosen for each step.
