How to add a title card or end card to a video

Ask Recut for "an end card that says Try it free and our web address" and attach the video. It makes the card as a short clip, with an optional logo, a title, a line under it and a footer on a solid colour, matched to your video's frame, and joins it on.

What to typeAdd a 3-second end card: our logo, "Dawn Coffee", and "dawncoffee.com" at the bottom.

Step by step

  1. Attach the video and the logoThe logo is optional.
  2. Say the wordsA title (a name or a question), a line under it, and a footer such as a web address.
  3. Say the lookBackground colour, text colour and footer colour, and how long it stays on screen (2.5 seconds by default).
  4. Run the planMaking the card and joining it run on your device. Recut copies the video's frame size so the join adds no bars.

What Recut does

The card is drawn as an image and turned into a clip of the length you ask for. It can copy the frame of a clip you give it, or take the shape of a platform (9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts) when the video will be exported for one.

Title cards at the start work the same way, and are a quick hook: put the question your video answers on the first two seconds.
