Recut

How to merge video clips into one video

Attach the clips and ask Recut to "join these" in the order you want. It plays them one after the other as one video, fitted to the first clip's size, with bars or a crop for any clip of another shape.

What to typeJoin these three clips in this order: intro, demo, outro. Crop any that don't fit.

Step by step

  1. Attach the clipsAdd two or more videos to a Recut project. They can come from different phones, cameras or AI models.
  2. Say the orderList them in order, or say "in the order I added them".
  3. Say how to fit themBy default a clip of another shape gets bars; say "crop" to fill the frame instead.
  4. Run itJoining runs on your device at no model cost. The joined video appears on the timeline next to the clips.

What Recut does

Clips that match exactly can be put end to end as they are. When they differ in size, frame rate or sound format, Recut re-encodes them into one consistent video. A clip with no sound gets silence for its length, so the sound stays in step with the picture.

If you are building a film from scenes with a narration for each and music under everything, ask Recut to assemble the film instead: it lays each narration over its clip, puts the music under the whole thing and turns the music down while someone speaks.
