Terms of Service

Recut is an app that plans and runs creative work across AI models on provider accounts you connect. These terms are the agreement between you and ZAPX SOLUTIONS LIMITED ("we", "us") for using it.

By creating an account or using Recut you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Recut.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your devices secure.

Subscription and free trial

• Recut costs $10 per month or $100 per year, after a 14-day free trial. Prices are shown before you subscribe and may include tax where it applies.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account menu; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If you cancel during the trial you are not charged.
• Payments already made are not refunded for unused time, except where the law gives you that right.
• If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Your provider accounts and what they cost

Recut runs models on accounts you connect with your own keys (fal, Replicate, ElevenLabs). This matters:

• Every model run is billed to you by that provider, at the provider's prices, on top of your Recut subscription. We do not receive that money and cannot refund it.
• The costs Recut shows are estimates. They are worked out from the prices providers publish and from the length and size we expect a result to have. The provider's own bill is what counts and can be higher. When Recut cannot work out a cost it asks before running the step.
• Your use of each provider is under that provider's terms, including its rules on content and commercial use. Check them for the models you use.
• You are responsible for keeping your keys safe and for any spending limits you set with the provider.

The included agent

Recut includes an AI agent that plans your requests and checks results. It has a daily request limit, shown in the app. Like any AI model it can be wrong: it may misread a request, choose a model that does not suit it, or misjudge a result. Review a plan and its estimate before you run it.

Your content

• What you put into Recut and what you make with it is yours, subject to the terms of the models and providers that produced it. We claim no ownership of it.
• You are responsible for having the rights to the files, voices, likenesses and other material you use, and for how you use the results.
• Your projects are stored on your device. Back up what matters to you: we cannot recover files that are lost or deleted there.

Acceptable use

Do not use Recut to:

• break the law or anyone's rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights;
• create sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses, defrauds or impersonates people without their consent;
• get around a provider's safety rules or usage limits;
• attack, overload or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing service by automated means.

We may suspend or end an account that does these things.

The software

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Recut apps while your trial or subscription is active. Recut includes open-source software under its own licences, listed at tryrecut.com/licenses. We may update Recut, add or remove features, and change which models and providers it supports.

No warranty

Recut is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, that any model will be available, or that results will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits or lost data, or for charges from your providers. Our total liability to you for any claim about Recut is limited to the amount you paid us for Recut in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Recut and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Recut; if we stop offering it, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the change applies. Continuing to use Recut after that means you accept the new terms.
