Open-source licences
Recut for Mac and web
Recut edits video and audio on your own device with FFmpeg, compiled to WebAssembly. This page credits that software and tells you where its source is.
FFmpeg
This software uses code of FFmpeg licensed under the LGPL v2.1 or later. Recut ships FFmpeg n5.1.4, built without GPL or non-free components, as a separate module that Recut loads at run time and drives through FFmpeg's command line.
- Notice: what is inside the module and under which licence.
- Build recipe: the exact source release of every component and the build options. With Docker it reproduces the module from source.
- Build configuration.
- FFmpeg source for this release: github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg at n5.1.4.
You may replace the module's two files (ffmpeg-core.js and ffmpeg-core.wasm) with your own build of the same interface and Recut will use it. If you would like the source on a physical medium, write to labszapx@gmail.com.
